Longest Day

The state weather bureau attributed longest day to an astronomical phenomenon called "summer solstice". The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Admnistration (Pagasa) said Philippines experienced its longest day yesterday. In its astronomical diary for June, Pagasa announced daytime in the Philippines and countries in the northern hemisphere had its longest during Summer solstice, in June 21.
